MY MISSION FOR PERFECT SKIN.

This is going to be a skincare haul/ mini review post about the things I bought at superdrug recently. I haven't tried all of the products thoroughly enough to give a detailed review but I'll tell you what my first impressions about some of the things are. Since using a few of these products I have honestly noticed a difference in my skin; I suffer with quite a lot of spots and uneven skin tone but the condition of my skin at the moment is the best it has looked in a long time.

this is my wash bag that I keep all my skincare stuff in, it says 'shower me with kisses' which  is cute.
This is probably my favourite product that I bought, its the superdrug 'Naturally Radiant brightening radiance balm'. This has such a light texture which feels very moisturising on the skin and it also sinks in so quickly. I wasn't sure what to expect with this as it is a 'balm' and I've never used a balm before but it's just like a light lotion which makes my skin feel super soft after I use it. It claims to even out skin tone and add a radiance to your skin which I totally agree with. I've only been using this for a week (I use it in the evening after cleansing and in the morning) and I can see the difference in my skin tone, it looks a lot more even and the texture of my skin feels a lot softer and more supple. I bought it when it was on special offer for about £3 but normally I think it may be about £5 so not an expensive product at all!

This is the Neutrogena 'visibly clear spot stress control cleansing lotion'. I only use this in the morning as I use my Liz Earle cleanser in the evening because I feel it gives a deeper clean that I need to take my makeup off. However this is a very light, refreshing cleanser for the morning and it really wakes my skin up. It is a very liquidy/ water like cleanser so it is perfect for a quick, refreshing cleanse which I prefer in the morning. The smell is pleasant but slightly anti bacterial so reminds me a bit of cleaning products but it's not too bad and makes my skin feel cleaner. This was on offer to get 2 neutrogena products for £3.99 I think so I'm not sure how much it is normally but I doubt it is very expensive.

This was the second Neutrogena product I picked up on offer and it is the 'visibly clear blackhead eliminating daily scrub'. I decided to buy this because of the great review from www.beautycrush.co.uk and she said she has repurchased this so many times. I have only used it twice because, even though it says it's for daily use, I don't particularly like using a scrub on my skin every day. Personally I think it makes my pores more over active and produce more oil. The beads are very fine which makes it really feel very gentle and I love the super clean feeling on my skin after I have used it. After I have used a makeup wipe to take off the bulk of my makeup I like to use this as it really cleans deep into my pores and then use a cleanser to thoroughly double cleanse my skin and also add back some moisture.

This is from the same range as the radiance balm, its superdrugs 'Naturally Radiant Brightening Renewal face mask'. This is a mask to use once a week to clarify and smooth your skin and I found that it did both those things. I used this in the shower last week because I find that the hot water from the shower opens up my pores and so the mask is more effective. You leave it on for 10 minutes and then wipe it off with a flannel. The mask doesn't dry or set very hard it just becomes slightly firmer but it is very easy to wipe off. My skin felt a lot smoother and so far I like this product. I also think that this tube will last me quite a long time as you really don't need a lot to cover your whole face. It was again on offer, but I think this retails for about £4.
I haven't actually tried this product out yet as I've been using the Neutrogena scrub and I don't like to use too many products at once. I picked this Clearasil daily scrub up on offer again, because of the vitamins and extracts that it has in it. I like products that contain natural extracts just because I feel they are kinder and more gentle on the skin rather than chemicals which I try to avoid, especially because some areas of my skin are quite dry. I am looking forward to using this and seeing how it compares to the Neutrogena scrub. This was about £2.99 on offer.

I think this may be from Superdrug's tea tree range which is pretty cheap so I decided to pick up this tea tree oil as it has natural antibacterial properties. I'v been using another tea tree oil on my spots which is pretty good at drying up the spot but doesn't dry out my skin, however it has nearly run out so I wanted to get another bottle. This tea tree oil is blended so I think it only contains about 1% pure tea tree oil, compared to my other one which you had to dilute with water. I haven't used this yet but I'm pretty sure it will be good at clearing any blemishes as my other tea tree oil was.

Like the tea tree oil, this is also from the tea tree range at superdrug and is a tea tree and peppermint spot stick. This is perfect for on the go application as it has a doe foot applicator and is small enough to carry around with you. I have been using this instead of the tea tree oil to apply to spots mainly because I have never used anything like this before. It has a lipgloss kind of consistency and the smell is so nice. It smells of tea tree but also peppermint which makes it so refreshing and feel so clean. I apply this before bed to any spots on my face and by the morning, most spots appear reduced and the area of skin around my spot has not been dried out which is great. I will be buying this again when I run out as I think it is very handy to have and I have found it to be very effective at getting rid of spots. This retails for about £1.99 I think.

I received a sachet of this 'Nivea daily essentials Regenerating Night Cream' in a magazine a couple of weeks ago and thought I would try it out. The next morning my skin felt plumped and so much softer so I decided to buy the full size product. I have never brought anything from Nivea before as I thought it was a brand for old people (don't ask me why) but I really love this. I've never used a night cream and I've never regularly moisturised my face at night which is pretty bad but I now use this every single night. I love the thick, creamy texture and although it doesn't sink in straight away I like how it feels quite heavy on my skin as I think it shows how moisturising it is. If you work this into your skin for a few minutes which I tend to do it does sink in a lot quicker and feels like it is really moisturising deep into your skin. The pot look quite small and personally I think that the packaging is quite misleading; about a quarter of the pot is empty and contains no product, however you only need a small amount to use on your face and this will definitely last me a long time. When this eventually runs out I will buy it again as it is great value for money. This was on offer for about £3.99 but I think this is normally about £4.99.

This isn't a skincare item but I thought I would include it as I bought this the same time as I did the other products.  It's the batiste dry shampoo for 'medium and brunettes'. I love dry shampoo it is definitely a life saver for me and as I am a teenager my hair gets fairly greasy but this really refreshes it between washes. The only thing I don't like about the original batistes is the white/greyish colour it leaves on your hair and even when it is fully rubbed in it still leaves a tint of white which is not ideal. I was excited to try out this dry shampoo with a hint of colour to make my hair look its more natural colour rather than the slight old lady grey hair I'm normally left with. This definitely stopped my hair from looking grey and I loved the smell of it. This was on offer for about £2 but I think it is normally about £3.99 which is more expensive than the original dry shampoos.
This is the second Nivea product I have ever purchased and again I am very pleased with it.  It is the Nivea 'daily essentials Express Hydration Primer' which acts as a daily moisturiser and primer for make up. I use this every day after I have cleansed my face and it feels very moisturising but so light on my skin. It has a sort of jelly texture and you only need a very small amount to cover your face so again it will last me a very long time. I like to smooth this over my face to act as a barrier for my skin before I apply my make up. It provides a smooth base and allows my foundation to be applied nicely and not stick to any dry patches. I think it does make my make up stay on for longer but even if it doesn't act as an amazing primer I still love to use this as a morning moisturiser. I also like the packaging of the Nivea products, they look much more expensive than they are and the glass jar makes them more solid and chunky. I brought this for about £4 something which is really good value.

I have seen many beauty bloggers talking about the Nivea lip butters as I think they are a fairly new product and so I decided to pick one up. I got the 'caramel cream' flavour and OH MY GOD this smells so amazing, literally like I would eat it if I could. I have honestly been telling everyone to smell this and they all have said this smells amazing. I like everything about this product; the tin looks cute and sort of retro which I love; the smell obviously is incredible; and the texture is lovely and smoothing on the lips. The only thing is I think I will use this up quite quickly as I am constantly using it because it is so nice. I also want to pick up this lip butter in the other flavours, I think there is a raspberry rose one and a vanilla one too. These are £1.99 in superdrug.
